The Coffee Hound is proud to introduce our newest all-natural ingredients (that you have been enjoying in drinks and bakery for the last few months). In an effort to provide customers with the highest quality ingredients and best café experience in town, we have begun using all natural maple syrup from the Butternut Mountain Farm in Morrisville, Vermont and Walt’s Swarmbustin’ Honey from West Grove, Pennsylvania. Both the honey and maple syrup are all-natural, single ingredient products produced by small town, family-owned businesses.

The Butternut Mountain Maple Syrup that we use is a Vermont Fancy (light amber) grade maple syrup that naturally sweetens any recipe with its distinct light maple taste. Walt’s Swarmbustin’ Honey has a distinctly fruity and floral profile that comes through subtly and mixes well with espresso and chai.

You will currently find Butternut Mountain Maple Syrup in our Paleo Bakery items and as a key ingredient in our homemade pumpkin sauce. Walt’s Swarmbustin’ Honey graces our “Sunny” (soy + honey) Lattes, Paleo Bakery, House Cortado and the Tiger Chai latte. By working with local businesses like Butternut Mountain and Swarmbustin’ Honey, we have the privilege to bring you high quality, healthy ingredients–making the Coffee Hound experience even more delightful.
